Tajwid Online

Members can access MyTajwid mobile-friendly web application. It is based on the Iqra learning methodology but with an extra tajwid module.  This application can help anyone learn how to read the Quran from scratch. It is a free service provided by PISANG.

On a weekly basis, free online classes are available for registered students to check their pronunciation. The service is available for both children and adults.

Online Tajwid Classes

When learning to read the Quran, one may need to revise frequently. Our app will help students revise frequently, but there is also a need to check their pronunciation. Our teachers can also take more students and focus more on teaching the rules of tajwid and correcting the pronuciations.

Tajwid checking

Students are expected to practice any lessons until fluent using the app before attending the free online class. Each student will be allocated 15 minutes to check their recitation. Classes are sponsored by PISANG.

Classes will be grouped into 4 categories

  1. Male children
  2. Female children
  3. Male adults
  4. Female adults

Booking

Booking system

A booking system will be put in place. Students are expected to be punctual for the online classes. Any absentees without a valid reason may deprive the student of future lessons.

Parents who do not have the time or ability to teach their children can enrol their children with us.

We recognise that there are also adults also want to learn how to read the Quran. This is an opportunity to learn without being embarrassed.

Prizes

Competition

InshaAllah a Quran recitation competition will be held annually. Participation is only open to children members of Melayu UK. There will be no entry fee and prizes will be given to the best 2 male reciters and the best 2 female reciters.

Next Educational Project

Bahasa Melayu

Our next project is to teach colloquial Bahasa Melayu via videos. It will be taught in a relaxing manner, comprising many short videos. The target audience is our members. This is a project that will be of great benefit to our members.
